As a vegetarian I was craving some Taiwanese breakfast and came here to try their salty soy milk and rice roll. I hadn't been here for years and they staff was very friendly. The place was decently packed when I went to pick up and I they have vegetarian pork floss to sub. I added mustard greens to it for more flavor and I was so glad I did! It was a 75 cent or 1 dollar upcharge. They do add pieces of pickled radish for some flavor too normally. The salty soy milk was also flavorful and I'd definitely go back:

There is a big lot here but the various business in the strip mall are all popular and parking is always challenging. Drive to the back of the lot and try the underground parking. The people who work here are task oriented and efficient, but not super friendly. The Mei fun (fried Taiwanese noodle) is not bad. The mochi is ok. The youtiao (Chinese fried dough) and doujian (soybean milk) are what they are known for and the toutiao is really big. Most of their food is just ok to good. They are crowded in the morning on weekends for breakfast and it can be get noisy.

If you're craving Taiwanese breakfast, this is the place to go! Everything was amazing so it's hard to choose a favorite. But I never had the Chinese donut which was super crispy and chewy on the inside. My so taught me to dip the donut into the porridge which was life changing. We also had the fan tuan and it was also super delicious. The rice was chewy and moist. We went on a week day so it wasn't busy at all. You order through a QR code given on the table so the ordering process was super easy. Definitely coming back here again!

We are so surprised to see not a lot of people at Yung Ho Cafe during the Christmas holiday. It's usually really busy. We went in and sat down right the way. The menu is on the table, which has so many options! It's really hard to decide what to eat because everything looks so good. We placed the order at the cashier for one pan fried egg cake with Chinese donut and one beef sandwich with mustard vegetables. The fried egg cake was good, but I wish it has special garlic soy sauce or spicy sauce for this. The soy sauce just doesn't really cut it. I probably will have the regular pan fried egg cake next time. The beef sandwich with mustard vegetables is excellent! The beef was well braised with tons of flavor. I recommend it! The sweet iced soy milk is great. A must have here! We also ordered two rice roll with eggs to-go and they are pretty good too. Overall, the food here is good. Maybe not the best in town, but pretty good still.
